After weeks of heavy fighting in the deserts around the excavation site, the Imperial front collapsed, allowing Aeldari reinforcements to lauch a major attack towards the north and west fronts. Craftworld Lugganath undertook a successful offensive into the Rift Warden lines.
After three days, the main Lugganath force supported by a dread avatar of Khaine, decimated the Imperial defenders, and controlled a large swath of territory and pushed further into areas controlled by the Rift Wardens. The main offensive was extremely successful, leaving the excavation site once again under Aeldari control.
