Operation: Thunderbolt was a military operation to capture the religious center of Hive Gothos. It took the Rift Wardens three days of heavy fighting in the streets, but the district came under loyalist control. The enemy guardsmen in adjacent districts attempted to counter-attack but no amount of manpower and tanks could dislodge the Rift Wardens.
