The battle of Rejuvenus Fortress was a Chaos operation in Mortwald, directed to capture the fortress at the heart of the sector. The operation was led by a maniple of Chaos Knights while other forces continued to battle Imperial forces in the surrounding streets. The storming of the fortress took place during a brief lull in the fighting. The operation resulted in the occupied fortress and the evacuation of the Rift Wardens.
